Launch of e-Student Induction Program (e-SIP)

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in collaboration with GurukulOnline Learning Solutions (GOLS) Pvt. Ltd. has come up with an initiative to launch e-SIP for students. Eligible students can now avail this opportunity to complete their SIP using eLearning. The e-SIP is an interactive Video-based training (VBT) with lessons delivered over the internet. Hence there is no need of physical presence of students at the venue*. ELIGIBILITY All students who have registered for the Executive Program on or after 1st September 2009 and are yet to complete the SIP. MODALITIES FOR THE COURSE 1. Registration: Eligible Students will be required to first register at the ICSI e-learning portalhttp://elearning.icsi.edu and fill in all the required details correctly. 2. Course Access: On successful payment of fees they can log onto the e-learning portal using the user id and password provided to them at any time convenient to them and completes the program from their own office or residence. The course would be available 24X7. 3. Course Duration : a. Minimum of 7 days b. Access will be given to a maximum of 2 modules / Unit per day (6 hrs. per day). c. The student has to start the course within 14 days of activation of his/her user id and password, which happens after the student receives course activation email from GOLS. d. Student is expected to complete the course within 30 days of the first login. e. Student would be given sequential access to topics of the course which they have to complete before getting access to the next topic. 4. Course Completion: a. A student has to study diligently and complete all the topics allocated in the course. The system will automatically mark attendance of the topic/course on completion of the respective topic or course. b. At the end of each topic, there would be an online assessment which needs to be attempted and completed by the student. c. During the course, there would be 3 Mastery Tests, which a student needs to attempt and secure the minimum prescribed marks for considering him/her for successful course completion. The test/s consists of multiple choice objective questions. d. On successful completion of the entire course and Mastery Test as outlined above, the student would be sent an online �Course Completion Certificate�. FEES: Rs. 750/- only per student PAYMENT OPTIONS Mode of Payment Comments / Instructions for students Time Required for Activation Credit Card / Payment can be made through Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express Credit Cards Will take minimum of 3 working days Online Transfer via NEFT/RTGS After making the payment, please mail the following details to GOLS: Your name (as per ICSI�s records) ICSI Student Registration Number Name of the course registered for i.e. e-SIP/e-EDP Unique reference number generated by the payee bank Amount Paid Will take minimum of 3 working days Cheque/ Demand Draft Cheque / DD can be couriered / posted (through Registered AD) to GOLS, Mumbai office along with the following details which are to be mentioned behind the instrument: Your name (as per ICSI�s records) ICSI Student Registration Number Email ID Name of course registered for i.e. e-SIP Contact Number- mobile/landline with STD code Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favour of "GurukulOnline Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd." and payable at Mumbai. Please ensure sufficient balance in the account. Please note that Outstation cheques are not accepted. Will take minimum of 3 working days post receipt of Cheque / Demand Draft at GOLS office Cheque / Demand Draft Deposited at Axis Bank / HDFC Bank Enter your name and other details on the pay-in slip Pay through Cheque / Demand Draft at any of the Axis Bank / HDFC Bank branches Cheque / Demand Draft should be in favour of "GurukulOnline Learning Solutions Pvt. At ICSI designated office of ICSI (CCGRT) Make an online application and choose the option to pay at the ICSI-CCGRT office located at Navi Mumbai (See Address below). Submit a Cheque / DD drawn in favour of �ICSI-CCGRT A/c� payable at Mumbai at ICSI-CCGRT office. Please write your name, ICSI Student Registration number and course registered for at the backside of the cheque Handover the Cheque/DD and collect the receipt for the same. Will take minimum 1 week after you submit the Cheque / DD to activate your course TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS :  Connection to the internet, preferably through broadband is required. A good quality head-set / speakers and Webcam are also necessary.
